Eat Street Northshore is turning up the festive cheer this year, transforming its neon-lit laneways into a vibrant Christmas wonderland from Friday November 28 and continuing right through the season – including Boxing Day. Fun-filled Christmas activations, family-friendly vibes and the scent of something sizzling around every corner set the tone for long, breezy summer nights.

Now celebrating its 12th iconic year, Eat Street Northshore remains one of Brisbane’s most beloved weekend riverside rituals – and it’s also a must-do part of the city’s festive calendar. Its sprawling maze of 180 repurposed shipping containers and colourful alleyways is home to more than 60 food and drink vendors serving everything from international favourites to indulgent, Insta-famous treats and vibrant sips.

Throughout the Christmas season, Eat Street’s long list of flavours, live music and riverfront colour creates a vibrant backdrop for catch-ups, date nights and showing visiting family around – all made even brighter by the precinct’s famous Christmas decorations, festive theming and lively activations.

Live music from local bands and touring headliners will drift from four stages every weekend throughout the Christmas season, with solo performers positioned throughout the precinct so you’re never far from live music or entertainment. Eat Street’s five riverside bars will keep the end-of-year vibes high and the summer drinks flowing – making it the ideal spot to settle in, soak up the evening and enjoy Brisbane at its brightest.

Whether you’re taking your taste buds on a culinary trip around the globe (from Asia to Australia, Europe, North America and South America), raising a glass with friends or introducing out-of-towners to your favourite stalls, Eat Street Northshore makes the Christmas season feel vibrant, relaxed and fun for all ages.

Eat Street Northshore is also one of the only venues in Brisbane with no public holiday surcharges at entry gates or bars – making celebrating and dining out across Christmas simple and stress-free.

Open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday leading up to Christmas – and on Boxing Day – Eat Street Northshore offers an easy, festive way to celebrate the season with great food, music and summer vibes all in one place.
