






In February, our team ventured north for an exclusive preview of the signature events and creative collaborations taking place at this year’s Noosa Food & Wine Festival, which will run from Thursday June 11 to Sunday June 14. As one of Australia’s premier food festivals on the coast, the festival will bring together celebrated restaurants, hospitality leaders and lauded drink brands for an electric weekend in the heart of Noosa. Here’s a sneak peak of this year’s program.
The Official Opening Party – Friday June 12
Noosa’s most anticipated dinner party of the year will once again take place on the sands of Noosa Main Beach after a sold-out year in 2025. The iconic launch party will bring a menu crafted by an all-star culinary cast, including authentic Italian flavours from Guy Grossi, South African flair from Warren Mendes and an interactive seafood bar from local icons such as Lucio’s Marina.
The Makepeace Island Experience – Friday June 12
For an indulgent and exclusive dining, experience, this 40-guest lunch is a rare chance to savour exceptional food in the serenity of a private island paradise. Begin with pre-drinks at Elysium, before a private charter cruises you over to Makepeace Island. There, witness chef Ben Williamson cooking over the famed Agnes woodfire in collaboration with Makepeace chef Zeb Gilbert as they craft a three-course menu blending contemporary flavours with coastal refinery.
The Italian Long Lunch – Saturday June 13
After massive success last year, the beachside long lunch event will return to Noosa Main Beach where four of Australia’s biggest Italian chefs will collaborate on a menu with an Italian twist. Legendary Melbourne chef Guy Grossi, acclaimed chef and author Luca Ciano, master patissier Adriano Zumbo and owner of Noosa Waterfront Andrea Ravezzani will combine their skills for a celebration of passion and craftsmanship.
Sunset Sessions: Beachside Dinner – Saturday June 13
Three of Australia’s most exciting restaurants will deliver a three-course menu for the perfect showcase of modern coastal dining as the sun sets over the ocean. Bringing together Lanai’s Ryan Fitzpatrick, Stanley’s Louis Tikaram and Serai’s Ross Magnaye, this year’s Sunset Session will feature bold, Asian-inspired flavours and dishes packed with creativity and flair.
Le Bistro, La Plage: A French Beachside Lunch – Sunday June 14
Sunday afternoon offers a relaxed yet elegant dining experience, with a French bistro-inspired lunch curated by The French Exit’s Ben Williamson, and Ben Cross of Bali’s Bar Vega. Expect vibrant, modern dishes showcasing the bold sophistication of French and coastal cuisine, set on the sands of Noosa.
The Catalina Afternoon, Afloat – Sunday June 14
Noosa’s most iconic vessel will set sail on Sunday afternoon for an exclusive event that brings flavour, sun and river life together. Led by chef Jason Jones of Melbourne’s Mamasita and Noosa’s Bandita, the menu will celebrate bold, authentic Latin flavours with a coastal twist as the Catalina glides along the river to DJ-mixed beats.
The Festival Sundowner – Sunday June 14
Wrap up the festival weekend with a laid-back, vibrant celebration of food on the sands of Noosa Main Beach. As the sun sets on the last day of Noosa Food & Wine, Light Year’s will bring a feast of bold, vibrant creations and continuous canapes, closing out the festival weekend with a big finale.
This year, the festival is introducing the 2026 Restaurant Series, showcasing collaborations such as Bandita and Byrdi, Season and Ten Minutes by Tractor, Sabrosa Dim Sum House and Gentle Folk, The Woodshed Kin Kin and The Dining Room, plus many more. Find more information on the series here.
