The 2026 edition of Brisbane’s most iconic rendezvous, Le Festival, is taking over Roma Street Parkland. From July 24–26, Le Festival will mark a new chapter with three days of French drink, culture and cuisine. Here’s what you can expect …

Brisbane’s largest celebration of French cuisine and culture, Le Festival is a mainstay of the Brisbane foodie calendar. Now, with a new venue, new dates and a refreshed team at the helm, 2026 is going to be, perhaps, the not-for-profit festival’s biggest year yet.

From July 24 to July 26, Le Festival will take over Roma Street Parkland, transforming the inner-city green space into a buzzing hub of Francophone delights, from gastronomy to entertainment and culture.

“A beautiful space in the heart of Brisbane, Roma Street Parkland’s design will allow us to create different spaces, abundant in green area for a perfect ‘pique-nique’ setting, yet close to the city,” says Le Festival’s newly appointed president Guillaume Fillet. “As Roma Street Parkland celebrates 25 years, we are lucky to share in this milestone as we deliver an exciting new chapter.”

Now attracting more than 17,000 attendees each year, Le Festival will no doubt expand its offering to cater to an influx of extra visitors. More than 50 exhibitors will set up shop at Le Festival’s French Market, with baked goodies, ice-cream vendors, crepe makers, cheesemongers and charcuterie carvers operating alongside jewellers, pop-up perfumeries, handcrafted gifts and much, much more.

Consider yourself a gourmand? Le Festival will also feature a series of masterclasses, teaching the secrets of everything from winemaking and wine and cheese pairing to paint-and-sip sessions and a beef Wellington with Montrachet head chef Clément Chauvin. The weekend will also feature live entertainment from roving performers, French chanson, DJs and the iconic CanCan display. There’ll even be events for kiddies, ensuring Le Festival remains a family-friendly outing.

This year’s Le Festival promises a French cultural experience that feels both nostalgic and new. Tickets are available online now – click here for more info.
