Foodies rejoice: Good Food & Wine Show returns with a brand-new line-up

For more than two decades, the Good Food & Wine Show has been the go-to pilgrimage destination for fans of epicurean delights. Now in its 25th year of serving recipes, meals and know-how, this annual celebration of all things delicious shows no signs of slowing – introducing two major new experiences in its 2026 program.

Since its inception in 2001, the Good Food & Wine Show has cemented itself as a behemoth of Australia’s culinary industry. Connecting the nation’s top chefs, producers and winemakers with thousands of passionate foodies, what was once a Melbourne-exclusive show has transformed into the longest-running and most-awarded touring food event in the country.

Despite the success, the team behind the Good Food & Wine Show hasn’t grown complacent. Premiering for the first time in the show’s history are two entirely new events for 2026: Bakers Alley and Cooking School.

Those with a weak spot for all things pastry can expect to fall in love with Bakers Alley  – an experience built in collaboration with acclaimed patissier and chocolatier Kirsten Tibballs. Highlighting ten of Australia’s most exciting independent bakeries – including Sprout Artisan Bakery, Cerin Pasticceria Eclair at the Bay and Doughcraft, to name a few – the event will also feature a showcase from Simmer Culinary founder and award-winning chef Andrew Ballard.

If you want to get more hands-on, the Cooking School experience has you covered. Offering intimate, in-depth workshops curated by celebrity chefs, participants will get to learn, cook and take home their own creations under the tutelage of trained professionals. Headlining names include Brendan Pang, Kirsten Tibballs – whose workshops draw international demand – and George Georgievski, with more to be announced soon.

That’s just the beginning of things you can sink your teeth into when it comes to the Brisbane Good Food & Wine Show. With traditional offerings such as wine tasting, live-cooking demonstrations or guest presentations in no short supply, you can rest assured that there’s something here for every taste pallet.

Want to join 90,000 other attendees across Australia? The Good Food & Wine Show will appear at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 23–25. Visit the Good Food & Wine Show website or follow the event on socials for further information.
