Cheers to spring! Customs House’s new Rosé Garden offers a sunny riverside escape
As the days become longer and the weather begins to warm up again, a new sun-drenched hideaway is unfurling along the Brisbane River to celebrate the turning of the season. From early October, Customs House invites Brisbane to welcome the spring season in style at its new AIX Rosé Garden set within its iconic Riverside Terrace. Here’s what we know …
From Saturday October 3 until Sunday December 20, the brand new AIX Rosé Garden at Customs House will sit along its Riverside Terrace, inviting the city to stay, sip rosé and savour the sunshine. The seasonal activation will see Customs House officially enter its rosé era, transforming the terrace into a summer-ready garden overlooking the Brisbane River in partnership with AIX Rosé.
From relaxed afternoons to indulgent garden parties, the Rosé Garden offers a vibrant escape with the signature domes available for making the most of the riverside setting with seasonal High Teas. Meanwhile a dedicated AIX Rosé Bar keeping drinks and nibbles flowing into the night, offering not only endless rosé but also Taittinger champagne, a generous wine selection and refreshing cocktails topped with AIX rosé. As guests sit back and sip, they can also indulge on delicacies from the High Tea menu, including fresh oysters, artisan cheese boards, chicken liver parfait and more.

The Rosé Garden will open from Saturday October 3 with a Launch Lunch officially kicking off the festivities. Celebrating all things spring, the launch will feature canapes on arrival, a two-course menu, live music and two hours of free-flowing AIX Rosé. Taking centre stage at the event will be a 15L bottle of AIX Rosé with the brand’s global business development director Jaap Sonnemans also paying the garden a visit.
With a glasses of Provence-inspired rosé, the Brisbane River as its backdrop and Queensland’s signature sunshine set to make an appearance, the AIX Rosé Garden is set to become one of Customs House’s most anticipated seasonal destinations.
