The founder and managing director of Reveling Australia and Kiff & Culture, Drew Campbell, took out the Entrepreneurial Award at this year’s 40 Under 40 Awards.
“I’ll tell you what, I don’t feel like I’m under 40 some days.”
That was the quip from Drew Campell – the latest winner of the 40 Under 40 Entrepreneurial Award – as he accepted the gong.
Campbell’s journey began from humble beginnings in 2016 as a one-man tour operator with a Kombi van in Cape Town.
Four years later, and amid the growing uncertainty of the Covid pandemic, he founded Kiff & Culture with two mates.
Their mission was to to offer exclusive tours and adventures to elevate local tourism in Southeast Queensland and Northern NSW.
Within another five years, Campbell had again expanded his offerings – launching Reveling, a luxury travel company curating sustainable and high-end experience across Australia and Africa.
Campbell describes Reveling as a blend of barefoot luxury and immersive storytelling to create grounding experiences full of wonder.
“I’ve created a business ecosystem that supports over 100 local suppliers, from Indigenous artists to oyster farmers, young guides to regenerative farmers,” Campbell says.
Through his strong sense of purpose, Campbell says his three successful tourism brands are rooted in cultural integrity and local impact.
The Entrepreneurial Award, sponsored by The Weekend Edition recognises the outstanding lateral business thinker and risk taker exhibition entrepreneurial flair.
Despite launching in one of the most challenging times for the industry, Kiff & Culture has become one of Southeast Queensland’s leading experience operators.
