Al Bacio Gelato Naturale is inspired by Italy’s artisanal gelaterias. The venue is a labour of love for husband-and-wife duo Bek and Craig Heininger alongside their daughter Jaime, who handcraft every batch on-site using traditional methods and natural ingredients – no shortcuts, just honest, flavour-first gelato made with care. The line-up changes with the seasons, but early favourites like strawberry and mint sorbet, mascarpone with honey and walnut, pear and ginger, and an avocado, lemon and coconut creation have already developed a loyal following. With its striking palette, coastal charm and commitment to authenticity, Al Bacio brings a little taste of Italy to the lower Gold Coast Highway – one perfectly creamy scoop at a time.
