Jin Izakaya

Jin Izakaya has transformed the former Easy Street Diner site into a warm, contemporary neighbourhood eatery inspired by Japan’s izakaya dining culture. Owner Aya Amemiya has partnered with head chef Dai to create a menu that balances traditional Japanese cooking with a modern, health-conscious approach, using Australian-grown produce wherever possible. Expect share plates spanning sashimi, karaage, grilled fish and pork miso soup alongside creative signatures including the Egg Tokyo Dome, shiso prawn toast and tempura nori salmon poke bites. Lunch brings traditional teishoku set meals, while the drinks list features sake, Japanese whisky highballs and rotating seasonal cocktails.
