Kostel Milk Bar

Kostel Milk Bar is a neighbourhood spot on Deodar Drive in Burleigh Heads serving specialty coffee, Japan-sourced matcha and a rotating selection of handmade pastries. Opened by husband-and-wife duo Jimmy and Pixie Parker, the milk bar blends Jimmy’s fine-dining background with the pair’s love of Japanese food and tea culture, resulting in pastries with a Japanese twist like hojicha-and-sake caneles, black sesame cinnamon scrolls and kabocha doughnuts. Everything is made in house, with fresh batches baked throughout the morning, while Coffee Supreme beans, specialty drinks and plans for Japanese-inspired sandos make Kostel a welcome new addition to the local neighbourhood.
