May’s Vietnamese Coffee is a hole-in-the-wall coffee spot on James Street in Burleigh Heads, specialising in Vietnamese-inspired iced coffee with a twist. The tiny caffeine stop comes from Lizzie Fines, head chef at neighbouring Maman, and pairs concentrated cold brew with a line-up of house-made cold foams. Choose from Vietnamese iced coffee, iced long blacks, iced lattes and coconut-water-based Coco Love, then top your brew with May’s signature egg-based foam, Nutella, salted caramel or citrusy Mont Blanc. There’s also a rotating selection of grab-and-go treats, including house-baked cookies and slices of Basque cheesecake.
