Mr Spiros Handmade Yiros brings a considered take on Greek fast food to The Oxley in Nobby Beach. Founded by Peter Gloftis, the venue draws on Greek culinary tradition and childhood food memories, translating them into a tight, quality-driven menu designed for everyday eating.
The offering is intentionally simple, centred on lamb and chicken yiros cooked slowly on the spit and served in house-made pita. Chips are hand cut and cooked three times for extra crunch, while sauces, marinades and dressings are all prepared on site. Yiros can be ordered wrapped or plated, with mixed plates available for sharing alongside warm pita, dips and classic sides.
Alongside the regular menu, Mr Spiros plans occasional Sunday releases featuring whole lamb shoulders, slow cooked and served to share with traditional Greek accompaniments.
Located in the former village grocer space at The Oxley, the venue is casual, walk-in friendly and open from late morning through to evening.
