Nobby’s Beach Surf Club

Nobby’s Beach Surf Life Saving Club is a much-loved Gold Coast institution, located in the heart of Nobby Beach. Serving the local community since 1954, the club continues its vital lifesaving role on the beach while welcoming locals and visitors into its relaxed Supporters Club overlooking the ocean.

Recently entering a new chapter, the venue’s bar and bistro are now operated by The Bears Group, bringing refreshed energy, polished club dining and a full calendar of weekly entertainment. Open daily from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, the club offers casual beachside dining, gaming facilities and regular events including trivia, darts, raffles and live music, with Friday Happy Hour from 4:00–6:00 pm a popular weekly fixture.

The bistro menu centres on elevated club classics, highlighted by top-tier Australian beef, fresh seafood and seasonal local produce, creating an easygoing setting for families, friends and after-surf catch-ups.

Looking ahead, a major renovation scheduled for 2027 will refresh the Nobby’s Beach Surf Club while ensuring it continues to serve the community for years to come.
