Smug Club is the new focaccia-led sandwich shop anchoring the Coomera Collective precinct, brought to the northern Gold Coast by Brodie and Andrew Howard, the husband-and-wife team behind Bear Boy Espresso in Helensvale and Windsor. The tight eight-sandwich menu is built on focaccia baked daily by Pixel Bakehouse, alongside a drinks list of cold-foam coffees, coconut-water-based specialties, a Miss Matcha and house-fermented sodas in cherry, strawberry and lychee. Standouts include a Breakfast Foccacia stacked with maple bacon, fried egg and hashbrown (available until 11am), a hot honey salami with whipped ricotta and crumbled pistachio, and a hot meatball sandwich with three cheeses.
