The 2026 Gold Coast Open is set to take over Burleigh Heads from February 18–22, bringing five days of surf culture, community and entertainment to one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic headlands. While the QS 4000 surfing event will see more than 175 elite surfers from Australia, Oceania and Asia compete at Burleigh Point, the action extends well beyond the lineup. Across the week, visitors can expect live music from local and touring bands, skate clinics and demonstrations, sunrise yoga and pilates sessions, women’s group surfs with Sirens Surf Club, interactive brand activations and a relaxed beachside atmosphere anchored by food trucks and a pop-up bar pouring Travla beer and Hard Fizz. Designed as a celebration of surfing culture rather than just a competition, the Gold Coast Open offers plenty to enjoy whether you’re watching heats from the hill, rolling out a yoga mat at dawn or settling in for an afternoon of music and food by the beach.
