Sure, chocolate eggs are great, but do you know what’s even better? Champagne. The traditional Easter-egg hunt is getting the luxe treatment at Beechmont Estate this Easter Sunday. Renowned two-chef-hat restaurant The Paddock is putting its own spin on the sweet-filled holiday with a refined high-tea experience complemented by a Champagne hunt for adults and a classic Easter-egg hunt for children. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Gold Coast Hinterland at the edge of the Scenic Rim, the Easter High Tea promises a decadent selection of handcrafted sweet and savoury delights by Beechmont Estates’ executive chef team, Chris Norman and Alex Norman.

Guests can expect a sophisticated take on festive favourites, from a hot-cross choux bun to house-made sorrel-pesto pinwheels alongside freshly baked scones served with Tommerup’s Dairy creme fraiche. A curated selection of premium loose-leaf teas and espresso coffee completes the experience.

Adding to the Easter magic, the estate’s kitchen garden and manicured lawns will be transformed into a treasure trove, where children can delight in a traditional egg hunt while adults uncover hidden bottles of Champagne in a playful twist on the holiday tradition.
