Leading the announcement are Trent Dalton, appearing with his latest novel Gravity Let Me Go, and Geetanjali Shree, whose Tomb of Sand made history as the first Hindi-language book to win the International Booker Prize.
They’re joined by a mix of acclaimed literary voices, including poet Evelyn Araluen, Miles Franklin Award winner Siang Lu and Booker Prize-shortlisted novelist Steve Toltz. Actor and writer Zoe Terakes will also feature with debut book Eros. Local voices are front and centre, with Melissa Lucashenko and Richard Denniss adding to the line-up.
Byron Writers Festival will unfold across a dynamic, multi-venue precinct woven through Byron Bay, transforming the coastal town into a lively meeting point for readers, writers and curious minds. Tickets are on sale now, with more line-up announcements to come.
