Carafe Wine continues its run of exceptional pop-up dining experiences with its third special collaboration, following two previously sold-out long-table dinners by Rick Shores. This time, the spotlight turns to celebrated chef Daniel Ridgeway, who steps out of Mermaid Beach to host an intimate evening in partnership with his celebrated venue, Little Truffle.
Set within the cosy surrounds of Carafe Wine, the one-night-only dinner will showcase Daniel’s refined, produce-driven approach through a carefully structured multi-course menu. Guests will be treated to a progression that includes cauliflower, parsnip and truffle amuse bouche, heirloom beetroot salad, his signature Moreton Bay bug and prawn tortellini, lamb cutlets with chicken and truffle mousse, and cherries jubilee, paired with a handcrafted brandy cocktail.
Each course will be matched with thoughtfully selected wines, including French Champagne, Yarra Valley rosé and Margaret River cabernet and chardonnay, creating a seamless dining experience from first sip to final spoonful.
With previous Carafe Wine pop-ups selling out quickly, this collaboration is expected to follow suit. For lovers of fine food, good wine and intimate long-table dining, this is a rare opportunity to experience Daniel Ridgeway’s cooking in a unique setting.
