Chinderah Chilli & Chocolate Festival

Back for its sixth year running, the annual Chinderah Chilli & Chocolate Festival returns to the Gold Coast for a full day of fiery flavour, decadent eats and family-friendly fun. On Sunday March 22, the festival will take over Seagulls Club for the afternoon, inviting locals and visitors to satiate their hunger at one of the region’s most flavour-packed events.

Visitors can enjoy more than 300 free samples at the festival, from some of Australia’s boldest chilli sauces and spicy snacks to artisan chocolates and desserts to balance the burn. There will also be a lineup of gourmet street food trucks toting comfort eats, international flavours and everything in between, including gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and non-chilli options. The brave and reckless can test their tastebuds on the chilli and chocolate comps, where entry is only $15 but bragging rights are forever – there’s even Icy Pole and chocolate bunny eating comps for the kids too.

Every entry and raffle ticket is a chance to give back to the community, from $2 entry (or free for kids under 3) and $5 raffle tickets for a chance at a $2000 prize, as the festival is proudly supporting Australian farmers doing it tough through RuralAid.
