Christmas in July at Burleigh Leagues Club

Break out the bonbons, don a Santa hat and dash away, dash away all to Burleigh Leagues Club for its festive Christmas in July celebration. The premium sport and recreation precinct will be decking the new Laurie Oar Event Centre in tinsel for a massive day of food, live entertainment and holiday cheer.

This year’s Christmas in July event will include glass of bubbles on arrival, followed by a three-course lunch, a festive rendition of A Very Vegas Christmas by George Harvey and Laura Doolan, holiday-themed giveaways and a prize for the best Christmas jumper. The day’s menu will include roasted butternut-pumpkin soup with cognac cream, pan-roasted turkey breast filled with a savoury pistachio mousse and served with crispy duck-fat potatoes, sweet maple-glazed pumpkin, steamed buttered broccolini and a traditional Yorkshire pudding, plus a brandy-soaked pudding served with warm caramel custard and fresh cream for dessert.

Bookings are now open, with tickets available for members ($45.90), non-members ($55.90) and children aged 4–12 ($15 – children under three eat free).

Guests will also be among the first to celebrate the completion of Burleigh Leagues Club’s new 400-sqm purpose-built event centre – a chapter that has been more than 100 years in the making.
