Gold Coast’s Next Top Dogel

Paws are hitting the runway at Gold Coast’s Next Top Dogel’s sixth edition, hosted by Ray White Sanctuary Cove. The annual event returns in an even larger location for 2026! Held for the first time at Sanctuary Cove Marine Village Precinct on Saturday August 15 from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm, there’s plenty of extra room for tail wags as you shop the dog-themed market stalls, watch the Schulz Prestige Cars Dachshund Dash and cheer for entrants competing across a range of categories including Best Big Dog, Best Medium Dog, Best Small Dog, Best Groomed Dog, Best Dressed Dog, Cutest Puppy, Best Trick and Best Owner & Dog Costume.

Everyone is welcome to bring their dog along to this free event, with live entertainment and stage activations aplenty. The day kicks off with the Harmony Early Education Grand Parade (open to all guests).

Simply join the Parade with your pooch and receive your raffle ticket to enter the major prize giveaway. One lucky winner will score a two-night stay for two at the InterContinental Hayman Great Barrier Reef!

Next to the main stage, you’ll find the Bimbadgen Bubbles & Barks Bar, where you can enjoy a glass of Bimbadgen’s premium Hunter Valley wine, as you kick back and relax with your best pal. Your four-legged friend can also enjoy delicious gourmet treats from Mimi & Munch, available at the Bubbles & Barks Bar. The Bubbles & Barks Bar will remain open until 5:00 pm, allowing visitors to continue enjoying premium wines and the relaxed waterfront atmosphere after the day’s competitions conclude.

Enter your pooch before Wednesday, August 5 for the competition categories, or show up on the day to participate in the Parade for your chance to win a dream escape while your pup struts their stuff.

Good to know: overflow parking will also be available, making it easy for visitors to enjoy the day.
