Aviary Rooftop Bar is getting into the Christmas spirit with a Grinchmas High Tea that’s all cheek, charm and delicious chaos. Landing on Sunday December 7, this sky-high celebration mixes festive flavours, green-hued sips, live tunes and Gold Coast views for an afternoon high tea that’s anything but ordinary.
From 1:00–4:00 pm, guests can tuck into a three-tiered platter loaded with mouth-watering Christmas-themed bites – with just a hint of Grinch. Expect savouries like the Who Hash potato rostis topped with smoked salmon, mini Grinch croissants stuffed with turkey, bacon and cranberry, mac-and-cheese croquettes, and haloumi fries with pesto remoulade. The high-tea platter will also feature sweet treats like festive scones, pistachio macarons, German stollen, shortbread hearts and vibrant green buttercream cupcakes. Gluten-free goodies are sprinkled throughout too.
The feasting continues with a line-up of playful pizzas – think a roast-turkey with cranberry sauce creation, a pepperoni-and-pineapple Grinch Pizza and the veggie-packed Grinchy Greens Delight. A glass of prosecco on arrival kicks things off, while the $59 Grinchy Upgrade adds an exclusive themed cocktail for those wanting an extra splash of festive fun.
