Lenny Pizzeria Takeover Event with chef Stefano Rosi

On Sunday May 25, the quaint suburb of Mudgeeraba will get a serious culinary shake-up as renowned chef Stefano Rosi takes over beloved suburban pizza slinger, Lenny Pizzeria, for a one-off long lunch event. Known for his work at Melbourne institutions like Vue de Monde, Tipo00 and Osteria Ilaria, Stefano Rosi is now turning heads with his private dining venture, Rosi Dining.

This special pop-up promises a magnificent seven-course shared menu that playfully reimagines Italian cuisine with a contemporary edge. It’s a rare opportunity to experience Rosi’s signature elevated style in a relaxed, suburban setting. The spread will open with wood-fired flatbread with Italian shichimi, alongside smoked eggplant with baked ricotta and marjoram, prawn ‘nduja and mortadella with pickled Turkish peppers and hot honey. Then, it’s mains of wagyu lasagne and fioretto cauliflower with stracciatella. Bringing the feast to a sweet finish is apple pie sundae with miso caramel.

With a thoughtfully curated wine list from Adlib Wine and cocktails by Noah Fletcher, the long lunch is set to be a celebration of local talent, seasonal produce, and community spirit – all served up in the heart of Mudgeeraba.
