Miami Xmas Block Party

Miami is kicking off the silly season with its annual Xmas Block Party this Sunday December 7 – and this year’s celebration comes with a big-hearted twist. The bustling Lemana Lane precinct (aka Liquor Lanes) is joining forces for an afternoon of cold brews, live tunes and community spirit, all in support of The Pyjama Foundation, a Queensland organisation that provides learning support, mentoring and confidence-building programs for children in foster care.

Stroll to Pretty Handsome for Santa slushies and festive bites, enjoy live tunes, pizzas and face painting at Precinct, sip seltzers while the kids burn energy on the jumping castle at at the FIZZ Taproom, pose for Santa photos with a beer in hand at Black Hops, and sip pavlova gin while indulging in an Argentinian barbecue at Granddad Jack’s.

Revellers are also encouraged to bring a gift for kids and teens, with an extra call-out for presents suited to older kids – think backpacks, beach gear, camping accessories or handy gift cards. Each venue will also have QR codes for easy donations, making it simple to spread a little cheer while you sip.
