Paws at the Park turns 10

Australia’s biggest dog market event is turning 10 and wants to celebrate by giving away a collection of prizes that your pets will love.

On Saturday August 2, Paws at the Park returns to Mudgeeraba Showgrounds for their award-winning, free community event that attracts thousands across Southeast Queensland. This milestone event will feature more than 100 dog friendly stalls from local pet businesses and artisanal brands, with plenty of treats for you and your furry friend. While you wander, check out the educational and expert stage talks, live music, food trucks and an off-leash dog play zone for when the zoomies hit.

Attendees also have the chance to snag some goodies in the Golden Paws Gateway, a treasure hunt where attendees must sniff out one of 10 Golden Paws hidden around the market. Golden Paws can earn finders keepers incredible prizes including a year of free vet visits from Pet Wellness Centre and a free year of Healthy Pets Plus Benefits from Greencross Vets. There are more goodies up for grabs in the best-dressed and best-trick dog competitions.

Paws at the Park is supported by Division 9 Councillor Glen Tozer and the City of Gold Coast and sponsored by Animal Emergency Centre, the Small Animal Specialist Hosptial, Toad Busters and The Canine Perspective. The event has already raised over $75,000 for Animal Welfare League Queensland and expects to see up to 4000 attendees at this year’s market.
