Riffs For A Reason

Riffs for a reason is coming to Burleigh for a full-throttle day of live music, community vibes, and giving back. Hitting Mo’s Desert Clubhouse this Sunday, this all-ages festival brings together a stacked lineup of indie, rock, punk, and alternative acts, including Clay Pigeons, Elestial, Lipline, ALLORA, Speira, Jollee, The Fem Grems, Dirty Harry, Black Dog Cat Band, and solo sets from Alby Damn — with more acts still to be announced.

Beyond the music, Minifest is a celebration of community spirit. There’ll be two stages, a half-pipe skate ramp, tattoo flash from 393 Crew, market stalls, food trucks, a CBCo pop-up bar and tap takeover, a kids’ chill-out zone, and plenty of shade.

All proceeds support For Kids In Care, helping children and teens affected by domestic violence, and festival-goers are encouraged to bring small gifts for donation.

Come for the riffs, stay for the cause — it’s a day of music, fun, and making a difference in Burleigh Heads.
