Hold onto your hats – SeaFire is back this May! The huge international fireworks competition will light up the skies like never before on Saturday May 31, and this year it’s going to be bigger than ever, expanding across four locations.

While the annual fireworks extravaganza – which attracts tens of thousands of viewers – is normally held in Surfers Paradise, some tidal curveballs from Cyclone Alfred meant SeaFire had to adapt to keep the magic alive and the community safe. So, in a first for the event, SeaFire will ignite Surfers Paradise foreshore, Broadbeach, Broadwater Parklands and the HOTA Parklands simultaneously at 7:00 pm, delivering one massive, synchronised 18-minute fireworks spectacular.

Expect dazzling displays from world-class pyrotechnic teams representing Belgium and the USA, finishing with a jaw-dropping Aussie finale.
