This November, Byron Bay will welcome its first luxury floating bar and dining experience with the reimagined M.V. Jasmine – an 18-m, Mediterranean-inspired vessel that’s part cocktail bar, part restaurant, and all coastal sophistication.

Anchored on the picturesque Brunswick River, M.V. Jasmine brings a blend of barefoot luxury and effortless style to Byron Bay and surrounds, serving up seasonal menus, curated cocktails and live music against a backdrop of golden-hour views. Once the beloved Brunswick River Cruise, the vessel is currently in the throes of a meticulous rebuild from the hull up to become an 18-m, two-level showpiece. With every detail considered, from its Mediterranean-inspired interiors to sun-soaked decks that melt into the horizon, Jasmine is more than just a floating venue – it’s an experience where food, music and community converge on the water.

At its core, Jasmine is about ‘Region on Rotation’, which is a concept that will see the venue float between in-house and guest chefs, each bringing their own flair to seasonal menus. Think dry-aged duck with coastal herbs one week, then hand-rolled pasta paired with freshly caught seafood the next. The ever-changing plates will celebrate Northern Rivers growers, farmers and artisans, paired with an award-winning wine and spirits list.

Adding another layer, Jasmine is set to moonlight as a stage for local and international musicians and artists. The idea is to make every cruise feel unique, a sensory snapshot of a moment in time, where what you eat, drink and hear are in tune with the season and the tides.

Guests can book a private charter or hop aboard weekly sunset, lunch and brunch cruises, with exclusive summer events already confirmed alongside Byron icons like Raes, The Hut and Luna Wine Store. The result is a venue that doesn’t just celebrate its riverside setting, but the very essence of Byron’s culture and creativity.

Step aboard, sip a salty margarita and discover M.V. Jasmine. Aye aye, captain.
