Surfers Paradise’s dining scene and nightlife is about to bloom, with the arrival of Hotel Jardin, a glamorous three-level dining and entertainment destination that is set to transform Chevron Renaissance this November. Take a peek …
The striking multi-level Hotel Jardin is set to unfurl in stages, with its first phase being unveiled on Thursday November 20. The venue will debut with the Lobby Bar, the Piano Bar and SABA Kitchen – a lush, pan-Asian restaurant helmed by acclaimed chef Minh Le (formerly The Foraging Quail, The Byron at Byron).
At SABA Kitchen, diners can expect a menu that balances playfulness with polish with the likes of robata-grilled skewers, yuzu sashimi and honey-glazed game-farm duck, all served within a moody, modern setting drenched in soft light and textural greenery. We’re told Minh’s signature spice-driven flair will take centre stage here, creating a dining experience that’s both refined and adventurous.
Upstairs, the Piano Bar will offer a taste of old-world glamour with a Gold Coast twist. A baby grand will take pride of place in the centre of the room, setting the soundtrack for soulful reinterpretations of classics and jazzy hits that drift well into the evening. Live performances every Thursday and Friday promise a dose of Paris-meets-Gold-Coast energy, while curated playlists will keep the ambience humming all week long.
Stage two will arrive in early 2026, with a rooftop bar destined to become the jewel in Jardin’s crown – a high-altitude haven of cascading greenery, highball cocktails and starlit soirees.
“Hotel Jardin is all about incredible food, great drinks and a vibrant atmosphere,” says general manager Aurelien Ducroux. “This first stage is just the beginning – when the rooftop opens, it’s going to redefine how people experience dining and entertainment on the Gold Coast.”
Equal parts restaurant, cocktail lounge and late-night piano haunt, Hotel Jardin is poised to become Surfers Paradise’s most talked-about new opening – a little slice of Europe right here on the Gold Coast.
Hotel Jardin will open its doors on November 21. We’ll bring you a closer look inside when it does.
