After more than a decade fuelling early alarms, post-surf coffees and catch-ups of all kinds, Paradox Coffee Roasters is preparing for a new chapter, with its much-loved cafe officially relocating to Broadbeach this March.

Since opening in 2015, Paradox has built a devoted following for its specialty coffee program, roasting its own beans and showcasing rare and limited-edition single origins alongside carefully crafted blends. Monthly filter features have become famous among caffeine crowds and an ever-evolving brew menu have made it a go-to for locals who take their beans seriously.

The new cafe will open in The Oracle Dining Precinct, occupying three combined shopfronts and offering a light-filled, open layout designed to connect with the surrounding neighbourhood. Expect a mix of cosy booths, communal tables and indoor-outdoor seating, making it just as suitable for a quick takeaway as it is for a lingering brunch.

Staying true to its roots, the Broadbeach space takes inspiration from Paradox’s original Surfers Paradise cafe, reworking its signature oval-shaped coffee bar into a contemporary new format. Coffee remains front and centre, with a custom La Marzocco machine and visible brew taps allowing customers to watch the baristas making magic. Beans will also be available to take home for those keen to recreate the experience in their own kitchens.

Beyond the espresso bar, the venue will double as a place of learning. A dedicated training and education area will host tastings, workshops and skills sessions for wholesale partners, reinforcing Paradox’s long-standing commitment to nurturing the next generation of baristas.

On the food front, the cafe will launch with a seasonally driven menu curated by head chef Vivek, spotlighting fresh local produce across breakfast and lunch. From familiar favourites to more inventive daytime plates, the offering is designed to evolve with the seasons while keeping locals coming back year-round.

“We’re excited to become part of the Broadbeach community,” says Ben from Paradox. “From their first coffee of the morning to a relaxed weekend brunch, we want this to feel like a place locals genuinely make their own.”

Scheduled to open in March 2026, Paradox’s Broadbeach move signals a confident next step for one of the Gold Coast’s most respected coffee names. With its blend of serious brewing, thoughtful design and community focus, this is shaping up to be one opening caffeine lovers will want firmly on their radar.

As always, we’ll bring you a close look inside when it’s ready to open.
