Australia’s viral cookie sensation Brooki Bakehouse is opening a Broadbeach flagship
For years, Gold Coast locals have been sliding into Brooki Bakehouse’s comments section asking the same question – when are you opening here? We got our first taste with a pop-up at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, and now, on Saturday June 20, Brooki Bakehouse will throw open the doors to its first Gold Coast flagship on Surf Parade, bringing its cult-status cookies, devoted fanbase and signature pink branding to the heart of Broadbeach.
If you’ve watched one of Brooke Bellamy’s baking videos at midnight and felt an unreasonable craving take hold, you already understand the appeal of Brooki Bakehouse. What started as a Brisbane bakehouse has become one of Australia’s more remarkable food stories – four million followers across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, and fans regularly travelling interstate just to get their hands on a box.
Where the Pacific Fair kiosk offered a taste, the Broadbeach flagship delivers the full experience. Cookies are baked fresh throughout the day, and for the first time the Gold Coast has a dedicated home for everything Brooki. It follows the Fortitude Valley flagship and a South Brisbane location in Fish Lane, with Sydney and Melbourne already in the pipeline. But for founder Brooke, this one has been a long time coming.

“So many Australians find Brooki for the first time on a Queensland holiday, and for years the Gold Coast has been the number-one place our customers have asked us to open,” she says.
Perhaps the best news for fans is that Brooke will be in store throughout opening weekend, bringing her trademark energy to the launch and meeting customers in person.
With the doors opening at 10:00 am on Saturday June 20, we’d suggest arriving with two things – an appetite and a little patience. Something tells us Broadbeach is about to become a lot sweeter.
