AUTOMATICA PHOTO, Burleigh Heads
AUTOMATICA PHOTO is on a mission to bring retro nostalgia back into our modern lives. Located behind the Malibu Racquet Club, the site has two booths available – the retro colourtone booth and the iconic red booth printing in classic black and white. Each session gets you four poses, one photo strip and the option for a digital copy.

Strange Days, Tweed Heads
Head on inside of Tweed Heads’ iconic and highly-curated vintage store Strange Days and you’ll find a gorgeous photo booth – from Australian brand PermaBooth – which has been designed to fit the store’s signature retro American style. The booth prints two film strips of three photographs, plus the option to have them sent directly to your email. We recommend having a shop around the store before heading the booth though, so you can capture your new purchases on film.

Sofia’s Italian, Broadbeach

Channeling Italian summers, Sofia’s Italian in Broadbeach houses a customised Social Booth styled to resemble the restaurant’s iconic Aperol Spritz shelves. Located just outside Sofia’s, the booth is open to diners and passersby alike, with each snapping session including two printed photo strips with three photos per strip, plus the option to have digital copies sent to your email.

Burleigh Pavilion, Burleigh Heads
Come for the beachfront views and great food, but stay for the photo booth. Designed and installed by Social Booth, Burleigh Pavilion’s baby blue booth offers a chance to memorialise your visit after wining and dining by one of Australia’s most favourite beaches. Printing two strips of four black and white photos, The Pav is open seven days per week, 11:00 am til late.

Southport Sharks, Southport
Southport Sharks welcomed two photo booths last month, installed and custom-built by Social Booth. The first is an understated wood panelled booth with checkerboard tiles and black velvet curtain, located inside the Southport Sharks restaurant. The second can be found nearby at Aviary Rooftop Bar – just look for the big gold booth with the emerald green curtain. Each snapping session gets you a photo strip of three full colour photographs so pick your poses and make them count.
