There’s something seriously special about an off-grid escape – stepping away from the mundane and into a restful adventure. But what if your next escape led to something more immersive than a simple weekend away? DSTNTN’s signature mirror-clad homes offer exactly that – a chance to dissolve into your surroundings, reflect and reconnect with the landscape. Read on to discover more …

Founded on the philosophy of being ‘about the destination’, psychology educator Vana Dimu and marketer Dee Gliogrevic set out to create a collection of tiny homes designed for the curious traveller.

Working together to position DSTNTN as a gateway to the extraordinary, the duo have unveiled four unique homes across the Yarra Valley, Heathcote and Byron Bay. The design across all locations is guided by simplicity, with a strong connection to the land and a clear focus on rest and comfort.

Each stay is shaped by its surrounding landscape, offering a one-of-a-kind experience. From the layered vineyards of the Yarra Valley and sweeping countryside at Heilgen Ridge to the lush hinterland of the Northern Rivers and tropical gardens just minutes from Byron Bay township.

“Novelty and immersion are scientifically proven to support psychological wellbeing and neuroplasticity, [which is] the brain’s ability to adapt, grow and rewire through experience,” Dimu says.

And what better way to reset the mind than through the unique experience of living fully off-grid? All DSTNTN properties are eco-conscious, featuring a Norwegian-designed Cinderella toilet system, solar-powered energy and limited internet connection.

When it comes to amenities, DSTNTN has considered every detail. Each property features luxe DrRest mattresses and plush Bonny doonas, Smeg appliances, Australian-owned LEIF toiletries, and an outdoor bathtub designed for long ‘I’ve got nowhere to be’ soaks. Relax around the sunken fire pit as the sunset checks out for the day or cosy up in bed with a classic film on the projector screen provided – allowing the stars to bid you goodnight.

We design for moments of awe, surprise and surrender, balanced with the comfort of deep rest. That’s where true restoration lives.”

Bookings for DSTNTN properties are available here, with Margaret River and Great Ocean Road already in the works.
