One rescued, one missing in Mackay fishing incident

One man has been rescued and another is missing after a boat overturned during a fishing trip in waters off Mackay.

An air and sea search was launched after an emergency beacon was activated about 8.10pm at Creal Reef, about 150km east of Mackay in the Coral Sea.
