He recently advised on significant programs including the design and construction of a $500 million automated facility in Queensland, a $1.3 billion solar farm and battery project in New South Wales and the delivery of a major fibre-optic network in Western Australia.
Hamilton Locke Managing Partner Brit Ibanez said the appointment reflected the significant opportunities with ongoing state-significant projects and capital investment across Australia.

Lockyer Valley Regional Council recently appointed Nick Hauser as its new Chief Executive Officer, who will step into the role from October 6 after a resolution at yesterday’s Ordinary Meeting.
Hauser brings more than 20 years of local government experience as well as a strong understanding of regional communities, having grown up in Helidon and Gatton with strong multi-generational ties to the Lockyer Valley.
Mayor Tanya Milligan said Hauser has the experience, leadership style and local understanding that Council has been looking for.
“His experience across strategic planning, governance, disaster management, service delivery and organisational leadership makes him exceptionally well placed to lead our organisation into the future,” Milligan.
Hauser said this appointment is both a professional privilege and a personal honour.
“I know the pride people have in this region, and I know how important Council services are to everyday life, from maintaining local roads and managing waste, through to supporting community facilities, growth and disaster preparedness,” he said.
Hauser’s appointment follows the resignation of Scott Greensill in May.
