Dreamworld is joining forces with the Australian Olympic Committee, making a global announcement today.

Numerous big names were at a Dreamworld party beamed into the television Winter Olympics broadcast to make an announcement hailed as the first time the Australian Olympic Committee has partnered with a theme park.
Anna Meares, six-time Olympic medalist, Kenny Wallace OAM, three-time Olympic medalist and Olympic gold medalist Leisel Jones were part of the event along with local school students and key stakeholders.
Australian Olympic Committee spokesperson Anna Meares said the landmark partnership with the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) to be the inaugural Official Theme Park Partner of the Australian Olympic Team would provide meaningful and practical support to athletes and member sports, while helping inspire the next generation of Australians.
“Our athletes don’t do it alone – support like this plays a vital role in helping them compete at the highest level and inspire Australians,” Meares said.
“As Chef de Mission, it’s fantastic to be able to offer these facilities to our 49 member sports.”
Under the partnership, Dreamworld also was supporting the Australian Winter Olympic Team at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, as well as the Australian Youth Olympic Team heading to the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games later this year.
The partnership extends across Dreamworld, WhiteWater World and SkyPoint Observation Deck, creating opportunities for athlete engagement, community celebrations and Olympic-inspired experiences across the Coast Entertainment portfolio.
Mark Arbib, Australian Olympic Committee CEO said: “The most pleasing element is that the sponsorship will bring benefits for Olympians, our member sports and their communities.”
Dreamworld CEO Greg Yong said the partnership reflected the organisation’s deep commitment to Australian pride and aspiration.
“As Australia’s biggest theme park, we’re proud to stand behind the green and gold and create experiences that inspire Australians to dream big,” Yong said.
Dreamworld group director of sales Chris Osborne said the partnership represented a significant milestone in the lead-up to Brisbane’s 2032 Olympics.
“This is the first time the Australian Olympic Committee has partnered with a theme park, and as we look ahead to 2032, we’re incredibly excited about what we can build together,” Osborne said.
