A suburban brawl in which a gardening tool was allegedly used as a weapon has left two men in hospital in critical condition.

Two men have been rushed to hospital in critical condition after a hedge trimmer was allegedly used in a fight that spilled onto a suburban street.
An argument exploded into violence at an address in Bellbird Park, southwest of Brisbane, about 2pm on Sunday.
The gardening tool was used in an altercation with a group including four men and several witnesses, police allege.
A 22-year-old Bellbird Park man is accused of punching a 25-year-old Ipswich man and pulling him into the residence’s garage as the fight erupted.
A 21-year-old Bellbird Park man, who was also in the garage, struck the 25-year-old four times in the torso with a bladed weapon.
The 22-year-old is also accused of hitting a 24-year-old Augustine Heights man in the chest and back with a “garden hedging tool” during the fight.
“The group, including several witnesses, continued to fight, leading out into the street,” police said in a statement.
Police arrived and both the 24 and 25-year-old men were located nearby and taken to hospital in critical condition.
The 22-year-old was treated at hospital for minor injuries and subsequently charged with two counts of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
The 21-year-old was later located and also charged with two counts of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
Both men were held in custody and will appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on Monday.
