One of the country’s biggest celebrations of food and wine is making its triumphant return this year, with MOULD x PINOT PALOOZA revealing the date and location of its three-day fest dedicated to fromage and fermentation. Expect more than 50 kinds of artisanal Australian cheese and just as many expressions of pinot noir from Australia, New Zealand and beyond.
Honestly, is there a better pairing than wine and cheese? If there is, we don’t want to hear about it. MOULD x PINOT PALOOZA is coming back for 2026, with Brisbane the first cab off the rank for the flavour-forward festival’s multi-city tour.
This year, MOULD x PINOT PALOOZA will be taking over the John Reid Pavilion at the RNA Showgrounds from May 22–24, bringing together wine producers and cheesemakers for what will be a celebration of significant proportions.
The event is the fusion of two pre-existing and long-running festivals now unified in harmonious bliss. In 2026, oenophiles and curd nerds can expect appearances from some of the nation’s best artisans, with more than 100 cheeses and wines available for tasting.
While the full list of producers is still to be revealed, the festival team has confirmed this year’s edition will feature Milawa Cheese Company (and its famous cheese wheel), low-intervention vino Ohkela Wines and Adelaide Hills winemaker Vinterloper. Those looking to go all out will also be able to construct their dream feast with ready-to-eat dishes, pantry provisions and grazing goodies also available.
Tickets to MOULD x PINOT PALOOZA are on sale now, with the entry price including festival entry, unlimited cheese and pinot tastings, a complimentary cooler bag for cheese purchases, a stemless wine glass for tastings, and a custom wine tote.
Session numbers are limited, so don’t snooze – head to the MOULD x PINOT PALOOZA website to get your tickets.
