The lights are back on at The 203, with the refined Fortitude Valley favourite welcoming guests back in for 2026. Inside, newcomers and long-time fans will find a rejuvenated interior and a retooled menu to match. Settle in for top-notch cuts, playful Italian-inspired plates and evenings that end on the dance floor.
After shutting its doors for a tasteful renovation, Fortitude Valley restaurant The 203 has reopened to the public. Building upon the attention-grabbing character that made the restaurant a standout when it first opened, The 203’s aesthetic revamp has reimagined the interior with new booths and more two-top arrangements, with existing green marbling, plush terracotta seats and sleek panelling remaining.
With a new look comes a new menu. Leading Australian beef producer Stanbroke’s award-winning cuts are still central to the offering, with a newly launched Black Onyx (a 230-day grain fed program that delivers enhanced marbling) joined by timeless Italian dishes boasting modern twists. Over at Bar 203, a cadre of creative mixologists are shaking up artisan cocktails alongside drool-worthy small plates of wagyu nuggets with caviar, arancini carbonara and oysters.
This year, Bar 203 will also be re-introducing its Saturday night DJ sessions from 8:00–11:00 pm, so you can boogie all night long. Keen to check out The 203’s revamped offering? Head to the restaurant’s website to make a booking.
