Calling all peat geeks and (whisky) neat freaks – one of Brisbane’s most beloved outdoor block parties is back for another high-spirits celebration. Whisky Whisky is taking over Fish Lane on Saturday July 11, bringing together more than 30 brands for a day of tastings, prizes, snacks and barrels of laughs. Here’s what we know …

Now entering its fifth year, one could say Whisky Whisky is well aged. Earning a reputation among whisky connoisseurs as one of the best events of its kind on the local event calendar, the team behind Brisbane’s most spirited block party is looking to take things even further for its 2026 iteration, which will see more than 100 Australian and international whiskies showcased across two 2.5-hour sessions.

“Five years felt like the right moment to raise the bar,” says Supping Club and Whisky Whisky founder, Shaun Restorick-Barton. “Whisky Whisky was always about making whisky feel accessible and genuinely fun – this year we’re doing that with more brands, more rare drams and a proper milestone vibe.”

This year’s Whisky Whisky event will feature more than 30 partner brands, including renowned labels such as Cape Byron, Scotch Malt Whisky Society, Heartwood and Highwayman, plus the likes of Launceston Distillery, Sullivans Cove, The Gospel, Outback Distilling and many more.

Across both sessions, guests will be able to taste drams of each showcased whisky, while also getting inside knowledge from representatives from each distillery. Find a favourite? Attendees can order bottles of the showcased whiskies via the event’s retail partner, Savile Row Cellars.

Tickets will also include lunch from Whisky Whisky’s restaurant partner Hello Please, a souvenir take-home glass and a dream dram token. These tokens can be used to savour a special rare, special or top-shelf whisky that’s not available for regular tasting. Those in attendance can also try their luck on the Whisky Whisky claw machine, which will be filled with an assortment of whisky-themed goodies.

Whisky Whisky tickets are on sale now, with a limited number of first-session guests able to upgrade to an intimate VIP experience for an additional $59, earning crowd-free access to the full dream dram range.

Head to the Whisky Whisky website to purchase your spot before they’re all snatched up.
