You’ve heard of the 12 days of Christmas, but what about 12 days of Anyday? To celebrate a dozen years of hospitality (and to thank Brisbane’s voracious foodies), the restaurant juggernaut is hosting 12 days of tasty team-ups, giveaways and epicurean experiences from September 28 to October 9. Here’s what’s on offer …

Years before Anyday Group cemented its status as one of Brisbane’s preeminent restaurant collectives, there was LONgTIME. Tucked away at the end of a short laneway in the heart of Fortitude Valley, the Thai-inspired restaurant was one of the city’s most popular dining spots, beloved for its electric atmosphere and verve-laced service as much as for its lobster curry and char-grilled beef short ribs.

The restaurant was a launchpad for Tyron Simon and Frank Li, who expanded their portfolio to include hôntô, sAme sAme and LOS before bringing onboard Bianca Marchi-Simon and Ben Williamson in 2020. From this point on, the group kicked things into overdrive, opening Agnes, Biànca, Golden Avenue, Idle, The French Exit and Le Royale in a six-year span.

Now, with 12 years under its belt, Anyday Group is giving back to the community that has supported it with 12 days of collaborations, events and prizes.

The fun kicks off on Monday September 28 with free doughnuts for kids at Idle, followed two days later with a one-off shared-menu dinner event at Biànca featuring Andreas Papadakis of Tipo 00 and Giorgio de Maria Fun Wines. On Tuesday October 5, LONgTIME’s former head chef Ben Bertei will join the kitchen team at sAme sAme for a dinner for the ages.

Guests who dine at Agnes, Biànca, Golden Avenue, hôntô, Le Royale, LOS, sAme sAme or The French Exit during the 12-day period will go in the draw to win one of several daily prizes. The giveaway includes a year of coffee and bread at Idle, a pasta masterclass and lunch for six at Biànca, drinks and snacks on Agnes’ terrace for ten, a Golden Avenue catered home experience, a $300 monthly bar tab at LOS and a grand prize of a weekly date night at any Anyday venue for an entire year.
