School holidays might have crept up when you weren’t looking, but you can keep your cool thanks to Paradise Centre’s holiday happenings. From 50 spin-and-win daily giveaways to literally spinning, there’s plenty to keep the whole family occupied.

Winter on the Gold Coast? Hardly feels like it. The weather still delivers on the rays, and kicking it at the beach is never completely off the cards. But if you’re on the hunt for more ways to let the kids blow off some steam (or keep moving to stay warm), Paradise Centre’s school holiday takeover has you covered.

From July 6–11, kids can windmill their way out of any winter woes with free breakdancing workshops hosted by Elements Collective, a multi-award-winning dance company based in Brisbane.

Perfect for beginners to seasoned b-boys and fly-girls alike, all ages and experience levels are welcome on the d-floor. There are three sessions daily, and whilst bookings are recommended, walk-ins aren’t out of the question if there are spaces available on the day. Just wear something easy to move in and head down to Paradise Centre’s beachfront precinct for the chance to take centre stage.

If retail therapy is a little more your speed, it’s finally your time to shine. Indulge in a little shopping cardio to get the blood pumping, and you could be adding bonus prizes to your haul. From July 6–11, visit Spin City between 12:00-3:00 pm daily with your receipts for your chance to win experiences or vouchers from some of your favourite Gold Coast destinations, including Maniax Axe Throwing, Wahlburgers, El Camino Cantina, Wendy’s and Enzo’s Cucina. There’s also Paradise Centre merchandise up for grabs and much more.

Wondering how to earn your spin? It’s easy. All you need to do is spend $50 within the Centre (and yes, you can combine purchases from different retailers), then mosey on over with your receipts to claim your chance to spin and win from a prize pool of over 300 goodies. You might even win your next family outing!

Spin City and the free breakdancing workshops are happening at Paradise Centre between July 6–11 in Surfers Paradise.
