This December, Sofitel Noosa will undergo a defining rebrand, transforming the space into an elegant seaside hideaway curated for wellness and luxury. Elysium Noosa Resort, located on Hastings Street, reimagines travel by prioritising rejuvenation across a fully redesigned site.

Ideally placed among Noosa’s most celebrated precinct, Elysium Noosa Resort‘s metamorphosis has been crafted by Melbourne-based interior architecture and design studio, Mitchell & Eades, across its 175 hotel rooms and suites. The resort will feature the work of cherished restaurateurs Alessandro and Anna Pavoni, as the two debut the first Queensland opening of their acclaimed Italian dining venue, Cibaria, joined by the coastal Bar Capri.

Described as a destination with global appeal by Mitchell & Eades’s principal, Hayley Mitchel, Elysium’s updated design is underpinned by Noosa’s laidback coastal essence, with a European edge. “It was important that the guest rooms feel truly of place, with subtle nods to Noosa’s coastal lifestyle … the playful design details add personality and character to create a uniquely sophisticated coastal experience that speaks to both a young, active audience and those seeking indulgence with ease.”

Ushering in an era of wellness-based destinations on the Sunshine Coast, the resort has been re-conceptualised to blend world-class elegance and nourishing revitalisation across all suites, where the Elysium Suite is the crown jewel. Here, guests can find a private plunge pool, oceanfront views and a spacious balcony. Across the hall, the Prestige Suites offer refreshing views of Main Beach over the retreat’s pools, while private cabanas for total seclusion can be found in the Poolside Junior Suites.

There are also the highly sought after Wellness Suites available, where the resort’s dedication to mindful rest is most acutely concentrated. Setting a new standard in comfort and wellbeing, the Wellness Suites nurture both body and mind with private access to infrared saunas, terrace spas and curated wellness rituals — from reformer pilates and yoga to Peloton workouts — personalised by the bespoke concierge service.

Elysium Noosa general manager, Mark Wilson, assures that each room has been crafted to embody sophisticated ease allowing for guests to experience luxury in perfect comfort. “This transformation is far more than a rebrand it’s a landmark evolution of one of Noosa’s most treasured hotels, a true legacy for the region.”

Elysium Noosa Resort will officially open in December. Bookings and enquiries can be made here.
