At first light on April 25, 1915, Australian and New Zealand soldiers made their courageous landing at Gallipoli, stepping into what would become one of the most defining moments of our nations’ histories. Their bravery, endurance and unbreakable camaraderie in the face of overwhelming odds gave rise to the enduring Anzac spirit. Each year on Anzac Day, we honour their sacrifice and the legacy of all who served then, and have served since. Across the Gold Coast, a variety of Anzac Day services will be held, offering the community a chance to come together in remembrance and reflection.
