Lime Cordiale, Will Sparks and more are taking over Burleigh for a huge Halloween Weekender
Cancel your quiet Halloween plans. Lime Cordiale, Will Sparks, Touch Sensitive and Little Fritter are descending on Burleigh for two huge nights of dance-floor antics this October.
Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, which feels like reason enough to make a proper night of it. If your enthusiasm for spooky season extends beyond fun-sized chocolate and watching Hocus Pocus for the 47th time, Sunny Side Up Events has something significantly louder in store. Lime Cordiale, Will Sparks, Touch Sensitive and Little Fritter are joining forces for a two-night Halloween Weekender across the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast on Friday October 30 and Saturday October 31.
The concept is essentially one very large party happening in two places at once. The four Australian acts will alternate between Burleigh Town Hotel and The Shed at Banana Bender Pub on the Sunshine Coast, giving both cities a night of indie-disco goodness and another devoted to considerably heavier dance-floor business.
On the Gold Coast, Friday October 30 belongs to Will Sparks and Little Fritter. Will Sparks is one of Australia’s biggest electronic exports and a pioneer of the Melbourne-bounce sound, so expect things to escalate fairly quickly once he takes control of the decks. Joining him is Queensland party starter Little Fritter, whose high-energy house sets should ensure there’s very little standing around contemplating your costume choices.
Then, on Halloween night itself, Lime Cordiale and Touch Sensitive take over. Rather than their usual live show, brothers Louis and Oli Leimbach will make a rare appearance behind the decks for a DJ set spanning indie dance, disco and party favourites. They’ll be joined by Touch Sensitive, the producer, musician and DJ responsible for Australian electronic cult favourite ‘Pizza Guy’, bringing his signature mix of house, disco and feel-good dance grooves.

Up on the Sunshine Coast, the schedule flips. Lime Cordiale and Touch Sensitive kick things off at The Shed on Friday October 30, before Will Sparks and Little Fritter take over for Halloween night on Saturday.
Costumes are heavily encouraged, so this is your cue to start thinking beyond the emergency pair of cat ears you’ve been pulling out every October since 2017. The Halloween Weekender hits the Gold Coast on Friday October 30 and Saturday October 31. Gold Coast pre-sale registration is open now, with pre-sale tickets released at 9:00 am on Thursday September 3.
