Fast, fresh and full of flavour – Fishbowl is set to land in Nobby Beach, bringing its cult-status bowls and no-fuss food philosophy to the buzzy beachside strip. Transforming the space at 2215 Gold Coast Highway, which was previously home to Zephyr Tapas & Bar, the brand-new Fishbowl spot is set to become your new favourite post-surf, school run, sweat session or beach walk pit-stop. Here’s everything we know so far …
Having won over the local lunch crowd with posts in Burleigh Heads and Robina, Fishbowl is bringing its signature Japanese-inspired bowls to a new beachside home in Nobby Beach. In true Fishbowl style, they’re not simply opening the doors, they’re hosting a whole weekend of fun, kicking things off with a collab run club with local legends Neighbourhood, SUR,
If run club isn’t your jam, the official opening will be this Saturday July 26 and they’ll be slinging $12 O.G. bowls from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Expect more than just great food – there’ll be custom embroidered Fishbowl caps, limited-edition artist prints by Ozzy Wright, house-made sodas and giveaways to keep the vibes high and the bowls flowing.
Fishbowl was born in Bondi in 2016 with one clear goal – to redefine fast food through fresh, whole ingredients and bold Asian-inspired flavours. The menu centres around made-to-order salad bowls layered with sashimi-grade fish, free-range chicken, tofu and seasonal vegetables, tossed with house-made dressings and punchy toppings. Signature creations like The O.G. (salmon and chicken) and Braised Beef have earned cult status, but there’s always the option to build your own bowl from scratch. Light, spicy, crunchy or comforting, every bowl is designed to fuel you up without slowing you down.
Whether you’re rolling in post-surf, fuelling up after a workout or just chasing a killer lunch, Fishbowl Nobby Beach is set to become your new local.
