The weekend is reason enough to celebrate, but Norté’s brand-new three-course lunch menu makes it even more enticing. Delivering a punchy line-up of flavour and flair for just $55 per person, this is your cue to gather your lunch-loving pals, book a table and stretch your midday meal into a sun-drenched afternoon.

When Norté and its rooftop sibling Sueño opened in the final days of 2024, the buzz was immediate. With its impressive interiors and fire-kissed Latin American menu, the venue quickly became a go-to for cocktail-fuelled afternoons that rolled into moody, dimly-lit dinners. Now, the Nobby Beach nosh spot is leaning into its sunny side, inviting lunch lovers to slow down with a set menu that celebrates fresh flavours, bold combinations and a more relaxed, daytime-friendly approach to dining.

The $55 set menu experience begins with a bright, zesty scallop and kiwi ceviche, elevated with coriander and lime, a dish that practically begs to be paired with a chilled glass of prosecco. The second course lands as a taco duo – a crispy pork and celeriac taco with a hit of Mexican XO sauce, alongside a braised-cabbage taco wrapped in corn and finished with green-chilli salsa and smoky spring onion. Fresh, textural and just the right size, it’s the kind of food that feels perfectly at home in the middle of the day.

For the third course, it’s a choose-your-own-adventure between roasted barramundi with silken fish sauce or crispy braised beef with fermented chilli and mustard sauce. Both are served with a shared long-grain rice and a Currumbin herb salad, grounding the feast in local, seasonal flavour. It’s satisfying without being over the top, so you can kick on into the afternoon rather than heading home for a nap.

Of course, no long lunch is complete without something in your glass. Norté’s bottomless beverage package ($99 per person) includes a mandarin margarita on arrival, crisp Mexican cerveza and a curated line-up of wines spanning King Valley prosecco, Murray Darling pinot grigio, French rosé and Clare Valley malbec.

Casual yet elevated, this light and bright lunch menu is a refreshing reminder that Norté isn’t strictly for sultry dinners and late-night vibes. It’s also about sunshine, flavour and afternoons that roll lazily into the weekend. The set menu is available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so gather your crew, settle in and let the team show you how to do daytime dining, Norté style.
