Burleigh’s ever-evolving dining scene is about to welcome another big name, with Betty’s Burgers set to open on the corner of Connor Street and the Gold Coast Highway, the prime site once home to Burleigh Tropicana Cafe. The Noosa-born brand has earned a cult following nationwide for its simple but polished approach to the classics, pairing house-made burgers and hand-spun shakes with an easygoing coastal aesthetic.
The Queensland-born burger empire first made waves in Noosa back in 2014, quickly becoming known for its drool-inducing burgers, thick shakes and retro-coastal charm. Now a national favourite with more than 70 restaurants across Australia, Betty’s has built its reputation on doing the classics properly – juicy 100-percent Aussie beef, crispy RSPCA-approved chicken and indulgent sides that will keep you coming back for more.
“We’ve heard from locals for a long time that they’ve been craving a Betty’s in Burleigh, and we can’t wait to welcome them in,” says managing director Joanne Bradley.
The new Burleigh outpost will stay true to the brand’s signature aesthetic – laid-back yet refined, with pastel tones and mid-century nods that channel Betty’s playful personality. And in true Betty’s style, the launch isn’t happening quietly. The doors are set to swing open on Tuesday October 28, and from Wednesday November 5, the team will roll out five weeks of opening offers, dropping fresh deals every Wednesday including two-for-one classics, deluxe burger discounts and $30 family feasts.
Arriving just in time for summer, Betty’s Burleigh spot promises the same relaxed energy and flavour-packed favourites that made it a national hit. We’ll give you a look inside once it’s officially flipping.
