A new season has dawned on the Tweed Coast as Farm & Co – the region’s much-loved organic farm, sunflower haven and farm-to-plate destination – officially unveils an expanded cafe offering, a refined dining room and a deeper focus on connection, community and the art of slow living. Long cherished for its paddock-to-picnic charm, the Cudgen favourite now enters a new era that feels both familiar and excitingly elevated. Here’s everything you need to know …
What awaits is a reimagined Farm & Co that invites visitors to linger longer. Mornings begin with coffee overlooking rolling fields. Children roam between garden beds and the playground. Long lunches unfold against a backdrop of sunflowers swaying in the breeze. The renewed vision brings the entire property into harmony – a place to taste, explore and unwind in a way that feels quintessentially Tweed.
“We wanted to create something that truly captures the essence of Tweed life – slow, seasonal and grounded in good food,” the Farm & Co team shares.
“This relaunch is about bringing people together around the table, celebrating local produce and the beauty of the farm and our region.”
The transformation begins with the newly renovated Farm & Co Cafe, now trading Thursday to Sunday from early morning until mid-afternoon. The cafe’s refreshed identity introduces a full a la carte breakfast and lunch menu complemented by an abundant cabinet filled with pastries, salads, sandwiches and treats, each crafted using local and organic ingredients. Moonshine Coffee, Fallen Leaf teas and cold-pressed juices set an easygoing tone, while the added outdoor seating and adjacent playground encourage long, relaxed family visits. The cafe operates on a walk-ins-only basis, reinforcing its casual, open-to-all spirit.
Alongside the cafe, the Farm & Co Dining Room reveals a more refined evolution of the property’s culinary ambitions. Open Thursday to Sunday for lunch and for breakfast on weekends, the dining room now offers a choice of two-course, three-course or signature banquet menus, each shaped by what is grown onsite or sourced directly from neighbouring farms. An elegant a la carte breakfast also debuts on weekends. Subtle design enhancements including upholstered seating, beautiful glassware and a moodier, softly lit aesthetic have elevated the space while preserving its warmth and connection to the landscape.
Beyond the table, the relaunch strengthens the relationship between the restaurant, cafe and working farm. Though operated separately, the teams are collaborating closely, creating the foundation for more immersive farm experiences. Seasonal events, farm activations, live music and long lunches will play a larger role moving forward, turning a day at Farm & Co into something layered, memorable and deeply tied to place.
The timing of the relaunch couldn’t be better. With festive celebrations on the horizon, Farm & Co will welcome guests for a Christmas Day lunch designed around local produce, as well as New Year’s Eve lunch and dinner offerings, including a family-friendly banquet complete with hosted kids’ activities. Extended festive trading across both the cafe and dining room ensures visitors can experience this new chapter in full.
Farm & Co has always been special, but now, it feels transformed. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee or settling in for a full day on the farm, its renewed identity and elevated offerings make it a place to slow down, savour the moment and simply be.
