Following a sold-out debut last year, the after-dark winter festival Burn After Dark is returning to Three Blue Ducks at The Farm on Thursday July 3, transforming the sprawling Byron Bay property into a glowing playground of fire pits, live music, roaming performers, food stalls and family-friendly fun.

Burn After Dark is a celebration of cooler nights, creativity and community, bringing together some of the Northern Rivers’ most talented musicians, performers, artists and food producers for one very entertaining evening.

As the sun dips behind the hills, guests can wander between crackling fire pits, feast on fire-cooked snacks and hearty winter fare from the Ducks team, and settle in for live performances from Uruguayan-born singer-songwriter Felipe Baldomir before a sunset DJ set from local favourite Dingo Balearico takes over.

Adding to the atmosphere will be Circus Arts Byron Bay, whose stilt walkers and fire performers will roam the grounds throughout the evening, while younger festival-goers can burn off some energy inside a dedicated kids’ rave cave hosted by Shorty Brown. There’ll also be giant bubbles, interactive entertainment and plenty of space for little ones to run wild while parents enjoy a drink by the fire.

Speaking of drinks, expect margaritas poured from Azteca Margarita’s bright-pink caravan, beers from Common People Brewing and plenty of wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic options from Three Blue Ducks’ bars.

Food-wise, the Ducks team is embracing the season with a dedicated fire-cooked skewer and snack bar alongside winter comfort-food favourites and a special Ducklings menu for younger guests.

With fire pits crackling, live music drifting across The Farm and plenty of food and drink to keep you fuelled, Burn After Dark offers a compelling reason to venture south this winter. If last year’s sell-out debut is any indication, you’ll want to secure tickets before they disappear.
