Pony rides, chocolate eggs and a scavenger hunt around the marina – Easter Sunday is shaping up to be a fun-filled one at Sanctuary Cove with the annual Easter Eggstravaganza returning to The Marine Village on April 5.

From 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the waterfront precinct will transform into a buzzing playground of all-ages Easter activities, sweet surprises and live entertainment. Kids can jump aboard train rides and pony rides, meet fluffy residents at the animal petting zoo and get colourful with face painting – all while keeping an eye out for the Easter Bunny, who will be hopping through the village for photos and friendly waves.

One of the biggest highlights is the village-wide Easter Scavenger Adventure, which will send young explorers on a fun-filled quest through The Marine Village. Armed with clues and themed challenges, participants will roam the precinct in search of hidden surprises before returning to collect a chocolate egg as a reward for completing the hunt. Children planning to take part can register in advance here.

Elsewhere around the village, pop-up performers will keep the excitement going as families wander between the free activities and discover something new around each corner.

Those wanting to add an extra sprinkle of magic can also book the limited VIP Easter Experience. For just $20 per person, the package includes a private meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny, cuddles with Pickles (a real-life bunny!), a take-home chocolate treat, a voucher for a drink or ice-ceam, as well as a gift bag of goodies.

With cafes, restaurants and boutique stores lining the precinct, The Marine Village makes it easy to turn the Easter Sunday festivities into a full day out. Settle in for a long lunch overlooking the boats, grab an ice-cream with the kids or take a stroll through the village shops after the celebrations wrap up.
